National 5 Past Paper Generator

I’ve developed a new digital tool designed to streamline revision for our National 5 RMPS learners. By collating every SQA past paper question from recent years, this generator allows teachers and students to create custom, targeted practice papers in seconds.

How it works: Simply select the specific units and topics you want to cover, and the generator will assemble a bespoke exam paper.

Important Notes for Users:

• Mark Allocation: Due to the complexity of combining various question types, generated papers typically range between 75 and 82 marks. Please feel free to adjust the mark allocations as necessary to suit your needs.
• Question Duplication: You may occasionally notice the same question appearing in different contexts. This is a reminder that while technology is a powerful aid, it cannot replicate the professional knowledge of an experienced RMPS teacher. Please review all generated papers to ensure they meet your specific classroom needs.
• The Coding System: You will see codes like “R504” throughout the tool. Please note that these are internal identifiers created solely for organising the generator’s database and are not official coding.

Focused Past Paper Archive In addition to the generator, the “Focused Past Papers” section provides a comprehensive archive of every question asked within specific topics. While some questions overlap across multiple categories, this archive is an effective way to target specific gaps in student knowledge.
