It’s that time again! Who can believe we are on episode 8. When I first started this project my aim was to have 8 episodes by June. I also thought I would be lucky to have 8 people willing to be interviewed. So the fact we are on episode 8 and have a few more already recorded waiting to be released I am impressed with myself. Thank you to all my listeners for their continued support and validating my crazy idea.
This week we have Orlaith Payne from Strathclyde University. I have worked with her as part of the curriculum improvement Cycle group and she has so much passion for the subject, as well as such a dry sense of humour.
In this episode we talk about how the PDGE course prepares students for not only the classroom but the kickback and continued defence of our subject that RMPS teachers often face.
We talk about how she supports primary students too and we make reference to the excellent resources from the Scottish Bible Society. Highly recommend for Primary teachers or probably adaptable for BGE.
